While students gain greater independence during their semester abroad, they also have access to guidance and assistance from onsite staff who are experienced in working with international students. These teams check in, provide resources, and help students navigate questions or unexpected situations as they arise.
Students also have access to emergency assistance, comprehensive health insurance while abroad, and referrals to mental-health support. Our partners maintain clear procedures and communicate closely with the University of Miami when student support needs arise.
